Easter Bag Packing

Air Cadets from 22 (Sandy) Squadron recently spent three days of the Easter holiday packing shopping at Iceland in Biggleswade, and Budgens in Sandy, raising money for the Squadron funds.

The bag packing started at Iceland on Thursday 5th April, running over two day, before the third and final day on Saturday 7th April at Budgens in Sandy, collecting an overall total of £802.46.

The much need funds will be put to use in provided training and camping equipment for the cadets and ensuring the continued success the Squadron has achieved over the last few year.

Adult Sergeant Sinead How commented, “The public are always very supportive of the Squadron, and it’s been great seeing the cadets helping them in return by packing their shopping. Were all very grateful, as without their support the Squadron would not be able to continue as we are now”.

Many thanks go to both Iceland and Budgens for their continued support, and to all the public who very generously contributed to the Squadron.
